Love this fold! This Double Delight is the perfect way to show off BOTH sides of the Designer Series Paper! Sometimes it is just too hard to cover up either side!! In this video we make TWO cards. You can findthe project sheets for bothbelow! ⬇️

Project Sheet #1: Winter MeadowDouble Delight - Show both sides of the Designer Series Paper

How gorgeous is the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper??? It has been very popular but it is now back in stock, at least for the time being. This simple card is made with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder (such a WOW), the Go To Greetings stamp set, and the Stylish Shapes dies. This card layout is easy to replicatewith any pretty Designer Paper where both sides of the paper coordinate. Why do both sides have to coordinate? Because on the inside of the card, you can see the other side of the paper! This paper is made to gowith the beautiful Magical Meadow bundle. For a Missing Middlecard using the Magical Meadowbundle, see below.

Two ways to download the project sheet:

    • You can click HERE to go to Google Drive to download the PDF OR
    • You can click HERE and it automatically will download to your device.

In the above photo you can see how the other side of the Designer Series Paper shows off on the inside of the card! There is also a 1/2" x 3" piece leftover when cutting the paper - it is perfect to decorate the inside piece.

In the two photos below, you can see a missing middle card made with the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper and the Magical Meadow bundle. I received this card in a swap from demonstrator Cathy Miller - thank you Cathy!!In the last project sheet email I shared a tutorial on how to make a missing middle card (it was a Halloween version, but the measurements are the same). You can find that project sheet HERE.

This past weekend I was in the Kickapoo Valley area ofWisconsin with family and we had a lovely time! Getting hot and sweaty hiking up Mount Pisgah, cooking at a campfire under the harvest moon, watching the Amish drive by in their buggies, getting apples at a local orchard, hiking, and eating loads of delicious food including fish fry and Amish baked goods. It was a really nice fall getaway!

I was in charge of breakfast Saturday morning and I tried a new recipe. It came out so delicious I just had to share! Apparently it freezes well too so you could make up a batch and keep the leftovers for future breakfasts. I know that cottage cheese may sound like an odd ingredient but it made the egg casserole very moist and creamy! Here is the recipe from Crazyforcrust.com (you can find it online here):

      Cheesy Egg Casserole

      Ingredients

      • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
      • 1 16 ounce container (453g) cottage cheese
      • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (approzimately 8 ounces/226g)
      • ¼ cup (31g) all purpose flour
      • 1 teaspoon baking powder
      • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
      • ½ teaspoon salt
      • 10 large eggs lightly beaten

      Instructions

      • Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9x13” pan with nonstick cooking spray.
      • Stir together butter, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Whisk in eggs and whisk until combined (mixture will be lumpy).
      • Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until browned and set in the middle. Cool 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
      • Best served fresh, but it can also be sliced and stored in individual containers and frozen. Defrost in microwave.

Thank YOU for making and sending handmade cards to show others that you care! Together we will make the world a kinder place, one handmade card at a time!
